AdsPower advertises a $9 starting price, and it’s easy to see why that catches the eye. But anti-detect browsers aren’t priced by the sticker. They’re priced by what you pay once you add teammates, proxies and the features you actually need to run accounts at scale. That’s where the Incogniton vs AdsPower comparison gets interesting.
We first compared the two browsers in 2024. Since then, both have shipped major updates, and the pricing math has changed. This 2026 update looks at what matters day to day: fingerprint quality, team collaboration, automation, ease of use, proxies, security and data control, and real-world cost at 10, 150 and 500 profiles.
Our verdict up front: for most readers, and especially for teams and anyone who scales past a handful of profiles, Incogniton is our pick. Every plan comes with free built-in proxies, and team seats are included (3 on Professional, 10 on Custom Package). You get two months with 10 free profiles and no credit card, and at 500 profiles for a 10-person team Incogniton costs less per month than AdsPower. AdsPower is a solid option if you’re a solo user who needs only a few profiles and brings your own proxies, or if you need Linux support or no-code RPA on a free plan.
- Team seats included: 3 on Incogniton Professional and 10 on Custom Package. AdsPower includes 0 team members on every plan and charges $5/month per member (as of September 2026).
- Free built-in proxies on every Incogniton plan. AdsPower says it “neither provides proxies nor has any proxies built in”.
- Lower cost at scale: 500 profiles with 10 users costs $149.99/month on Incogniton, versus $171/month on AdsPower.
- Try before you pay: 10 free profiles for 2 months, no credit card required. AdsPower’s free plan has 2 profiles, and its refund policy rules out refunds once you’ve paid.

The Landscape Now: Why Anti-Detect Browsers Matter More Than Ever
Anti-detect browsers are no longer just for social media marketers avoiding bans. Today they’re part of the core toolkit for digital professionals across industries, from ad agencies and e-commerce sellers to affiliate marketers, data teams and crypto airdrop hunters.
Here’s why these tools are more critical than ever:
a. The tightening grip of platform detection
Ad platforms, marketplaces and financial systems keep upgrading their detection engines. Facebook and Google, for instance, analyze hardware and software browser fingerprints more deeply than ever, so any mismatch or inconsistency in browser data can flag an account.
Anti-detect browsers like Incogniton and AdsPower create separate, realistic browser environments, so each account looks as if it were running on its own device.
b. The rise of distributed teams and remote operations
Marketing teams and agencies are more global than ever. Teams working across time zones need safe, organized ways to manage many clients, projects and campaigns. Traditional browsers aren’t built for that. Anti-detect browsers let teams share account environments without handing around passwords.
c. Privacy, compliance, and digital identity control
As privacy regulations tighten and fingerprinting techniques advance, users want more control over their digital identities and over where their data lives. That makes account security features and data-location choices just as important as fingerprint quality. We cover both below.
Comparing Incogniton and AdsPower in 2026
Below is how they compare across six key areas: anti-fingerprint technology, team collaboration, automation tools, ease of use, proxy integration and pricing. After that, we look at security and data control, and at where AdsPower falls short.
1. Anti-Fingerprint Technology
Platforms now check dozens of data points to spot anomalies: canvas rendering, WebGL, GPU models, font lists and more. A good anti-detect browser has to keep all of them realistic and consistent from session to session.
Incogniton builds every browser profile on real device fingerprints, covering user agent, timezone, language, hardware details, WebRTC and graphics signatures, and lets you fine-tune the parameters yourself. Cookies, local storage and cache are isolated per profile, so accounts never bleed into each other. Incogniton profiles are built to pass popular checkers like Pixelscan, BrowserLeaks and BrowserScan.
AdsPower offers both Chromium- and Firefox-based browsers and real fingerprints for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, according to its pricing page. Its generator leans toward quick, automated setup. One limitation for power users: AdsPower’s help centre notes that “you can only save one profile template”, which is then applied every time you create profiles.
Our take: both tools mask digital identity well. If you want realistic fingerprints without hand-tuning every profile, Incogniton is the more comfortable environment.
2. Team Collaboration
Collaboration is where the two browsers differ most, and it shows up directly in your monthly bill.
Incogniton includes team seats in its plans: 3 team member seats on Professional and 10 on Custom Package, with extra seats at $5/month. From the Professional plan, team management gives you role-based permissions per team member and per group. From Entrepreneur upward, you can also transfer profiles between Incogniton users.
AdsPower has strong team tooling too, including member permissions and action logs that record logins, IPs and profile operations. The catch is that none of it comes with a teammate included. As of September 2026, every AdsPower plan includes 0 team members beyond the account owner, and each member costs $5/month. Profile sharing and member permissions aren’t available on its free plan at all.
Our take: for teams, Incogniton is the better value. You get seats and roles in the plan instead of per-head add-ons.
3. Automation Tools
Automation is a core selling point for both browsers, and they approach it differently.
Incogniton gives you two routes from the Entrepreneur plan upward. The Synchronizer lets you perform an action in one profile and have it mirrored across others (clicks, scrolls, form fills) without writing a line of code. For developers, Incogniton offers REST API access plus Selenium and Puppeteer integration, so existing scripts carry over easily. The Cookie Collector automatically builds cookies in new profiles, so they look lived-in from day one.
AdsPower is strong here, and we’ll say so: its no-code RPA robot for recording and replaying browser actions is available on every plan, including free. Its Local API, which works with Selenium, Puppeteer and Playwright, is limited to paid plans, at 300 to 1,500 requests per minute depending on the tier (pricing page).
Our take: if visual RPA workflows are the centre of your operation, AdsPower has an edge. For most multi-account teams, Incogniton’s Synchronizer, Cookie Collector and Selenium/Puppeteer API cover daily automation with less setup.
4. Ease of Use and User Interface
This is where Incogniton shines, in our view.
Incogniton keeps a clean, desktop-native interface. Profiles, groups, proxies and cookies are all reachable from one dashboard. Creating a profile is simple: set the fingerprint, pick a proxy (including the free built-in ones) and launch. It’s approachable for first-time users without feeling “dumbed down”, and the built-in Cas AI assistant is there if you get stuck.
AdsPower has a feature-dense interface that feels like a control panel for large account farms, with tabs for groups, trash, API, billing, synchronizer, proxies and automation. It’s powerful, but it can feel overwhelming at first. On the free plan, conveniences like batch profile management, cloud sync and restoring profiles from the Trash are locked (pricing page).
Our take: if you want to be productive on day one, Incogniton is the easier browser to live with.
5. Proxy Integration
Clean IP management is half the battle: even the best fingerprint won’t help if every profile shares one IP address.
Incogniton comes with free built-in proxies on every plan, including the free one. Open a profile, pick a proxy and go, with no separate proxy account needed to get started. You can also add your own HTTP, SOCKS5 or SSH proxies, or buy more from the built-in proxy shop.
AdsPower has good proxy management tools, including checks and filters for large proxy lists. But in its own words, it “neither provides proxies nor has any proxies built in”. You bring your own or buy partner proxies inside the app, and either way that’s an extra cost on top of your plan.
Our take: Incogniton wins clearly. Built-in proxies make it faster to start and cheaper to run.
6. Pricing and Value
Let’s be upfront: AdsPower has the lower sticker price for small setups. At 10 profiles for one user, it’s $9/month against Incogniton’s $19.99. That changes once you add what most teams actually need, which is teammates and proxies. On AdsPower, both cost extra. On Incogniton, both are included.
Here’s the math at three common sizes. The figures use monthly list prices in USD, with AdsPower prices from its pricing page as of September 2026.
| Setup | Incogniton | AdsPower (as of September 2026) |
| 10 profiles, 1 user | $19.99/month (Starter Plus), free built-in proxies included | $9/month (Professional, 10 profiles), proxies not included |
| 150 profiles, small team | $79.99/month (Professional: 150 profiles + 3 team seats), free built-in proxies included | $71/month: the Professional plan stops at 100 profiles, so you need Business at 200 profiles ($61) + 2 members × $5. Proxies not included. |
| 500 profiles, 10 users | $149.99/month (Custom Package: 500 profiles + 10 team seats), free built-in proxies included | $171/month: Business at 500 profiles ($126) + 9 members × $5 ($45). Proxies not included. |
| Free option | 10 profiles for 2 months, then 3 profiles; no credit card | 2 profiles, 0 members |
At 500 profiles for a 10-person team, Incogniton saves you $21.01 every month compared with AdsPower’s $171 ($252.12 a year on monthly billing) before you’ve paid for a single proxy on AdsPower. At 150 profiles, AdsPower’s list price is $8.99/month lower, but you’d still need to buy proxies for those 150 profiles separately. Incogniton also offers 6-month billing at 30% off and yearly billing at 40% off, and the Custom Package scales up to 5,000 profiles.

Security and Data Control
Your anti-detect browser holds the keys to every account you run, so account protection and control over your data matter. Here’s what Incogniton gives you:
- Two-factor authentication on every plan. Optional two-factor authentication (TOTP) works with any authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Authy, on every plan, including the free one.
- Session control. See every device where you’re signed in, and log out of all of them in one click.
- Team permissions. Role-based permissions per team member and per group.
- Keep browsing data on your computer. Turn off Cloud saving in Settings, and your browsing data (cookies, saved logins, local storage and history) stays on your own computer and is never uploaded. Profile settings and fingerprint configuration are still stored on Incogniton’s servers.
- Choose your data region. Using cloud saving? Choose where your profile data is stored: United States, Europe or Asia.
- Encrypted transfers. Profile data is transferred over encrypted HTTPS connections using short-lived signed links.
- Password hygiene. You can choose to discard saved passwords when a profile closes.
- Local automation. Browser automation listens only on your own computer and can be turned off.
To be fair, AdsPower offers two-factor authentication too, with Google, Microsoft or Tencent Authenticator. It also says it stores sensitive data such as passwords, LocalStorage and IndexedDB locally by default, with cloud sync as a paid option. What we couldn’t find in AdsPower’s documentation is a choice of storage region for synced data, which Incogniton offers.
The legal framework is different too. Incogniton is based in the Netherlands and operates under EU law, including the GDPR. AdsPower is operated by Sunflower Tech Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-registered company that says it was founded in Hong Kong. Its privacy policy (effective August 2025) refers to laws of the People’s Republic of China and doesn’t mention the GDPR. If your clients or compliance team care which rulebook applies, that’s worth knowing.
Where AdsPower Falls Short
AdsPower is a capable tool, but a few things are worth knowing before you pay. Everything below comes from AdsPower’s own pages, public review platforms or published security reports, as of September 2026.
No refunds once you pay
AdsPower’s refund policy states that “no refunds can be made once you have confirmed the purchase of paid packages or customized services.” You also have to tell AdsPower you’re not renewing at least 2 working days before your plan expires, or it may deduct the next billing cycle from your account balance. Its billing documentation adds that price differences aren’t refunded when you downgrade and that AdsPower wallet balances can’t be withdrawn. With Incogniton, you can test with 10 free profiles for 2 months, with no credit card, before you decide.
Every teammate costs extra
No AdsPower plan includes team members beyond the account owner, and each one costs $5/month. For a 10-person team, that’s $45/month on top of the plan price. Incogniton’s Professional plan includes 3 seats, and Custom Package includes 10.
No built-in proxies
AdsPower’s help centre is clear that it “neither provides proxies nor has any proxies built in”. Proxies are a separate purchase. Incogniton includes free built-in proxies on every plan.
A small free plan, with key features locked
AdsPower’s free plan gives you 2 profiles and no team members. The Local API, cloud sync, batch profile management, Trash restore, profile sharing and member permissions all require a paid plan (pricing page). Incogniton’s free Starter package gives you 10 profiles for your first 2 months and 3 profiles after that.
A price jump after 100 profiles
AdsPower’s Professional plan tops out at 100 profiles. If you need even one more, the next step is the Business plan, which starts at 200 profiles for $61/month (pricing page). Incogniton’s Professional plan covers 150 profiles with 3 team seats for $79.99/month.
One profile template
If you run different setups for different platforms, note that AdsPower lets you save only one profile template, which is applied every time you create profiles.
Its Trustpilot rating is currently unavailable
As of September 2026, Trustpilot shows AdsPower’s rating as unavailable, citing its review guidelines, and says it has removed a number of fake reviews from AdsPower’s profile. Incogniton is rated 4.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 208 reviews.
A January 2025 wallet-extension supply-chain incident
In January 2025, AdsPower was hit by a supply-chain attack. According to MetaMask’s security report for January 2025 (published 31 January 2025), legitimate wallet extensions in AdsPower were replaced with fraudulent versions that deceived users into entering their seed phrases and passwords. MetaMask reports that more than $3 million in crypto assets was stolen from over 34,000 wallets. Users first reported problems with MetaMask inside AdsPower on 23 January, and by 25 January the AdsPower team had acknowledged the breach. MetaMask’s guidance covered AdsPower users who installed or updated the MetaMask extension between 21 and 24 January 2025.
This is a historical incident. If you keep crypto wallets or other high-value sessions in browser profiles, ask any anti-detect browser vendor how it protects its software-delivery chain, including how extensions reach your profiles.
Where AdsPower is stronger
In fairness, AdsPower has real advantages for some users. It’s cheaper for a solo user with up to 100 profiles who already has proxies. It runs on Linux as well as Windows and macOS, while Incogniton is available for Windows and macOS. It offers a Firefox-based browser alongside Chromium, and its no-code RPA robot is available even on the free plan.

Verdict: Which Should You Choose?
Choose Incogniton as your AdsPower alternative if you work in a team, run more than a handful of profiles, want proxies included, or simply want the easiest way to get productive. This covers most readers. Team seats are included, and so are free built-in proxies. At 500 profiles for 10 people, it costs $149.99/month against AdsPower’s $171. You also get two months with 10 free profiles to prove it to yourself, with no credit card needed.
Consider AdsPower only if you’re a solo user with up to 100 profiles who already pays for proxies elsewhere, if you need Linux, or if no-code RPA is the centre of your workflow. Even then, test carefully on its free plan, because AdsPower doesn’t refund paid plans.
No anti-detect browser can guarantee that an account will never be flagged. What you can choose is the tool that makes clean, consistent, well-organized profiles easiest to run. For most teams, we think that’s Incogniton.
