## **Step 1: Create and Sign In to Your Incogniton Account**

- Visit the official [Incogniton website](https://incogniton.com/) and download the application for your operating system (Windows or macOS).

- Log in to your Rapidproxy User Center and navigate to **Proxies → Rotating Residential Proxies → Use Proxy → User & Pass Auth** .

- On the configuration page, set your preferred server node and target country. Optionally, narrow the location further by selecting a specific state/province or city.

- Select the protocol you want to use ( **HTTP** , **HTTPS** , or **SOCKS5** ).
- Configure the session type:
 - **Rotating** — assigns a new IP address for each request.
 - **Sticky** — keeps the same IP address throughout the session.
- Once your settings are configured, Rapidproxy automatically generates the proxy credentials.
- Copy the following details:
 - Host
 - Port
 - Username
 - Password

### **Static Residential Proxies**

- Log in to your Rapidproxy User Center and navigate to **Proxies → Static Residential Proxies → IP Management** .

- Review the list of static residential IPs assigned to your account.
 Static residential IPs only appear after you purchase a static residential proxy plan.
- Locate the IP address you want to use.

- Copy the following connection details for that IP:
 - Host
 - Port
 - Username
 - Password

## **Step 4: Integrate Your Rapidproxy Proxy With Incogniton**

- Open the Incogniton app and create a new browser profile or edit an existing one.

- Click **Add proxy** and enter the Rapidproxy connection details, including the hostname or IP address, port, protocol, and authentication credentials.

- Click **Check** to verify the connection, then click **Create** or **Save** once the check succeeds.

## **Step 5: Launch and Verify Your Profile**

- In Incogniton, **click** **Start** on the configured profile.
- Within the profile’s browser window, visit an IP-checking service to confirm the profile is using the expected residential IP address and location.
- After verification, the profile is ready for use with its own isolated browser state and dedicated Rapidproxy residential network identity.
